Disposable Email Accounts Made Easy - look Ma I'm melting!

Melt Mail is a new free email forwarding service that lets users create a temporary email address for forw3arding email to their "real" email address. Users enter the email address they want messages forwarded to, define how long they want it to work, and then hit Create. Melt Mail generates a random address suers can register on spam-likely sites so the site's subsequent forwarding will stop. Very simple interface. We can expect an alternate solution from GMail soon!

Speed Typing by Smearing letters on touch-screen

The screengrab (left) shows how to type the word “quick” on any touch-screen device, by tracing the path shown above in a fraction of a second, by roughly aiming to pass through the letters of the word. The intention of Swype is that there should be no need to be very accurate, enabling very rapid text entry. Swype was one of 5 top TechCrunch finalists - and their primary business model is to be OEM licensing.

New nano drug delivery mechanism

The new proposed AdminPatch system is a microneedle transdermal delivery technology that forms hundreds of tiny aqueous channels (micropores) through the skin. Proteins and water-soluble molecules can enter the body through these aqueous micropores. The punch holes or created aqueous channels stay open while AdminPatch is applied through the skin.

The AdminPatch system can be a single-use disposable unit - or a re-useable handheld Applicator. The disposable AdminPatch contains a proprietary microneedle array laminated on a conventional transdermal drug-in-adhesive patch.

AdminPatch is based on the proprietary microneedle shape which has been developed by nanoBioSciences LLC. The proprietary microneedle shape allows continuous delivery of drugs when the microneedle is inserted in the skin. The microneedles are formed from a standard metal film. A conventional transdermal drug-in-adhesive patch is laminated on the back surface of the microneedles.

The aqueous channels formed by the microneedles have a depth of about 100 microns, deep enough to extend through the viable epidermis but shallow enough to avoid the dermis and any pain receptors.

When the transdermal patch is removed from the skin, the micropores simply collapse and the skin barrier repairs itself.
